Mrs. George Becker, 69, 627 Chicago Ave., died in her home Sunday afternoon following a short illness. She had lived in Dixon for 15 years. Mrs. Becker was born Nov. 16, 1892, the daughter of George and Margaret Lauer Stephenitch, in Sublette. She was married to George Becker May 3. 1917 in Sublette. She is survived by her husband and 2 sons, Vernon, Sublette, and Roland, Mendota; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Laverne) Byrd, Kinross, Mich., and Mrs. Eugene (Irene) McMillan, Streator; a brother, Otto Stephenitch, Amboy, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., in Jones Funeral Home and at 9:30 a m., in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Boland, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home today after 7 p.m. Rosaries will be recited at 7:30 and 8 p.m., Tuesday.
