He was born Mar. 29, 1877, the son of the late William and Elisabeth Hane Davenport at Pardevllle, Town of Russia.
Mr. Davenport had been a resident of Pardevllle until 12 years ago when he moved to Ohio on his grandfather's farm. He was one of the promoters and treasurer of the old Hinckley and Grant Telephone Company during its existence.
Mr. Davenport was unmarried. Only surviving relative is a brother, Lincoln Hallenbeck. Town of Ohio.
