Henry Charles Joudrey 1940 Bridgewater Bulletin

There passed away early Monday morning, November 11th, Henry Charles, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eben Joudrey, at the age of 57 years. Althought the deceased had been in failing health for the past few years his passing came as a great shock to his many friends and relatives.

He leaves to mourn their loss, a loving wife, Louise; four daughters, (Laura) Mrs. Arthur Daniels;(Lena) Mrs. Joe Hull of Bridgewater; Gladys and Phyllis, at home; also two sons, Arthur and Bruce. A son, Lewis, predeceased him eight years ago. One brother, Ellard of Bridgewater; a brother, William, and an adopted sister, Mrs. Arthur Clattenburg, passed away many years ago.

The funeral service was held from his home on Wednesday at two o'clock and was conducted by Rev. C.H. Whitteker, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The body was laid to rest at Brookside Cemetery.
