He was a retired employe of Marshall Oil Co. of Asheville.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Irene Riddle Hyatt; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Silver and Miss Norma Jean Hyatt of Burnsville and Mrs. Patsy Marshall of Asheville, a sister, Mrs. Crealey Arrowood of Stanley, a brother, Floyd Hyatt of Old Fort; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday and Pensacola Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Arnold Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Pearson Riddle Cemetery at Pensacola. Pallbearers will be Ronnie & Billy Brooks Wilson, Jerry Silver, Edgar Hensley, Larry Hyatt and bernard LeMilux.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.
