It is my understanding that the family was clearing off their homestead in Morehouse Parish. Located at the end of the "Sonny Boy Yeldell" road. While burning and clearing the land a burning tree fell on Etta and burned her to death. There was a headstone place in the family plot at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at Log Cabin, Louisiana. This incident has been related down through the years in the family and now recorded here by Louis Wesley Yeldell, III.
