She was last seen in September 1982 along Pacific Highway South in Federal Way, and her remains were found in June of 1988. Debra was a murder victim of Gary Leon Ridgway, known as "The Green River Killer" who was responsible for the murder of 49 women in Seattle, Washington, between 1982 and 1998. Hers was one of the seven murders for which he was initially charged.
