Word was received here Wednesday of the death of Rev. Tom Clark who died at his home in Kansas City. Rev. Mr. Clark was a retired Baptist minister, and was formerly a teacher in the Burleson schools. He lived in Fort Worth a short time before going to Kansas City five years ago.
The family of Clarks were pioneers in this section of Texas and originally had a farm one mile southeast of Burleson, where Rev. Mr. Clark was raised.
The body will be sent here where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. F.G. McGee, Burleson; two brothers, James Clark and Frank Clark, Burleson; one daughter, and four sons, J.C. Clark, Joshua; George Clark, Burleson, and J.W. and Charles Clark of Kansas City.
