* Sarah Stone was born on the 24th of February, 1806, in ______, Jefferson County, Ohio, the daughter of Jeremiah Asbury & Hannah [Reed] Stone. The father, Jeremiah Asbury Stone, was born on the 23rd of June, 1781, in Fauquier County, Virginia, the son of Revolutionary War Veteran, Benjamin Stone 1743-1833 & Anna [Asbury] Stone 1748-1833. Benjamin Stone was born on the 26th of September, 1743, in Westmoreland County, Virginia, son of Thomas & Mary (Ritler) Stone of Virginia. He died on the 4th of June, 1833, in Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio. The mother, Hannah Reed, was born 1784 in Pennsylvania, and died 1853 in Coshocton County. Not much is known about Hannah and not much documentation exists for her. I am fairly sure she is buried with her husband and family in in the Keene Old Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Coshocton County, Ohio, although it has not been confirmed or the marker identified and photographed. A large lot area for the Stone family, bad condition of the two remaining stones and a few sunken holes makes me believe the marker, as well as others, long ago crumbled, sunk in the ground, or were removed in disrepair/pieces. I am still searching for all the clues I can find. TJD2011
