LYNN — Rebecca Embler, 54, of Lynn, died Thursday evening, April 21, 2011.
Born in Hyannis on April 13, 1957, she was the daughter of Betsey (Stobbart) Snow of S. Yarmouth and the late Thomas N. Embler.
Rebecca was a graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth H. S., and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting at Salem State College, followed by a successful career as a CPA.
Rebecca grew up on Cape Cod, moved to the North Shore 30 years ago and has been a resident of Lynn for the past 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, the beach, her home and spending time with her family and many friends.
For over 25 years, she shared her life and her love of travel with the late John E. Guzowski.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, Stephen Embler of West Grove, Pa., and his children, Jay, T.J., and Julie Ann; two sisters, Judy and her husband Joe Alberg of Wareham, their son Josh and grandson Jayson; Elizabeth Embler of Dennis and her sons, Thacher Wood and Samuel Wood.
ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
A Committal service will be held at the family lot in Woodside Cemetery, Yarmouth Port, at the convenience of the family.
