Martyn Alban Andrews, 84, died Wednesday of a heart attack at his home in Meadowview. A memorial gathering was held Sunday at the Meadowview Clubhouse. Evans Brown Mortuary handled the arrangements.
Mr. Andrews was born in Chicago. He was a resident of Temecula for 15 years. During World War II, he was an engineer with Consolidated Aircraft. After the war, he ran several businesses including refrigeration, remodeling, general contracting and property management.
Mr. Andrews was a member of the Meadowview Board of Directors for the last seven years.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, James of Bloomington, Minn., Patricia Marin of Los Altos; and two grandchildren.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the local Boy Scout troops.
