BENNINGTON -- Beverly J. Burgess, 58, a resident of Bank Street, North Bennington, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bennington July 29, 1946, she was the daughter of Walter C. and Isabelle (Leonard) Mould. She received her education in the Bennington schools and was a 1964 graduate of the former Bennington High School. In her younger years, Beverly was very athletic and enjoyed music and entertaining.

Beverly was employed at CTC Corporation in Bennington for 32 years, and for the last several years had served as store manager. She had been very dedicated to her work at CTC. Prior to that she had been employed at Birds music store in Bennington.

She enjoyed gardening, caring for her home and time spent with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Michael and Bonnie Jamieson of Sunderland; a son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Troia Burgess of Shaftsbury; two grandchildren, Devon Jamieson and Justin Burgess; her parents, Walter and Isabelle Mould of North Bennington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Frank Morin of Bennington and Dale and Kathy Dickerson of Royalton; a brother, Robert Mould of North Bennington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Penny Rich Smith, pastor of the North Bennington Congregational Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., when the family will be in attendance.

Burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.
