Kelly Lee Cannon graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1974 and from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. After graduation she returned to Fort Myers where she worked as a realtor and was active in children's ministries in several local Baptist churches. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Vivian Cannon and sister, Jill Cannon. She was survived by sister, Hollie Michele Powell; brother, Gayland Patrick (Margaret) Cannon; grandmother, Virginia Ryan; and other relatives and many friends. A celebration to honor her life was held at McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers with burial at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. (News-Press, 10/16/2006)
