I just wanted to let you know that the obituary information for Virginia Clements is not correct. Her maiden name was Virginia Gilliam HURT, not HUNT. She is the daughter of Robert Henry Hurt and Lottie Carwile Hurt from Campbell County VA.
Virginia was born in Naruna, Campbell County, VA.
She was the second wife of John Everett Clements, marrying him 27 Sep 1941 in Williamsburg.
I suppose since she outlived everyone in her family there was no one to give accurate info. for the obit.
Virginia is the sister of the woman who married my grandfather's brother, Raymond Harper. I knew her sister Edith Myrl Hurt Harper but never met Virginia.
