Margaret Aleen Neal passed away April 20, 2011. She was born November 10, 1923, at Sulpher Bluff, Texas, near Sulpher Springs in a rural community called Birthright to Nicholas Jackson Wells and Iona Catherine (Sears) Wells. Preceded in death by her husband N.H. Neal of 70 years February 4, 2011. They had four children, daughters and sons- in- law, Margaret and Jack Johnson, Shirley and Frank Taylor, Pamela Peterson, and son David and daughter-in-law Teresa Neal, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was one of 10 children. She has one living sister, Nina Sue Neal. She was preceded in death by her half sisters Exa Mae Ellison, Lillian Sewell, sister Lucille Wells, and half brothers Andrew, Murphy, brothers Cecil, Delbert and Woodrow and also brother Nicholas Jay Wells. She was a member of the Ovilla Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and an expert Seamstress. She taught her children to be Christians, to cook, and sew their own clothes. She worked for a company in Dallas called Stretch-n-Sew where she taught sewing classes. She was a Church of Christ Elder's wife and a Sunday school teacher for many years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday April 25, 2011 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Sunday April 24, 2011 at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
