"JULIA ACUNA
Funeral services for Julia F. Acuna, 74, of El Dorado, will be held Friday, Jan. 5 at Chapel of the Pines. The Rev. Arthur Kaufman of the Highway Bible church will conduct the services. Interment at El Dorado Cemetery.
Mrs. Acuna, a widow, died Jan. 2 in a local hospital following an Illness. She was born in Nashville, El Dorado county and lived all her life here.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Acuna was a member of the Eagles auxiliary, past noble grand of Placerville Druids auxiliary and past president of Hangtown Cootiettes.
She is survived by her children Myrtle Shuster of El Dorado and John Acuna of Yuma, Arizona, sister of Elsie Daniels of El Dorado, Delores Hoover, Thelma Rydberg and Alta Tripp, all of Sacramento; and 17 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
Family request remembrances be sent to the American Cancer society and may be left with Chapel of the Pines."
