Research from Contributor Edward Hale of Plaistow finds;

Tristram Coffin was the son of Peter and Apphia (Dole) Coffin and grandson to Tristram Coffin of Nantucket fame. He married Dorothy Tufts of Medford, Ma 22 March 1722.

Children:
Peter, b 10 Aug 1723;m. Mary Currier of Amesbury. He went on to become a Massachusetts Senator in 1785, 1787, 1792.

Richard died less than 1 year.

Simon, born and died less than 2 yrs old
and a Still born...no name.
