Mrs. Lillian Bain Dies in Home Here - Mrs. Lillian Bain, 81, of North Jasper street, died in her home at 10:50 a.m. Saturday after an illness of three months. Her entire life had been spent in Decatur and the family formerly operated the Bain Floral shop in the 300 block North Main street for 15 years.
The daughter of Samuel and Mary Winegardner, Mrs.Bain was born in Decatur Sept 28, 1865. She married William Bain March 27 1895.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lucile Stuckey, Oak Park and a son, Samuel Wilson of a former marriage besides five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bain was a member of St. Johns Episcopal church and of Mary Winegardner Tent Daughters of Union Veterans.
Funeral services will be in the Monson chapel at Fairlawn cemetery.
