Anna A. (Hetherington) Arbuckle, 78, of Davison and formerly of Gladwin, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995 at the
University of Michigan Hospital. Born April 28, 1917 in Gladwin, she resided in Detroit for many years before moving to Davison.
The former Anna Hetherington married Ray Arbuckle Sept. 18, 1937 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death in September 1972.
Surviving are 2 sons. Gale and wife Grace of Almont, and Miles of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Ethel and husband Clayton Davis of Clarkston; 2 brothers, Clarence Hetherington of Gladwin, and Roy Hetherington of Flint; 5 sisters, Mary Barker of Florida, Eulayeah Ridley, Veva Shaw, Nellie Simpson and Mable Coats, all of Gladwin; 8 grandchildren; and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. The Rev. Bryan Johnson officiated and burial was in the Skeels Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Springfield Christian Academy for playground equipment. Gladwin County Record dated 11-15/1995 Column - 5 Page - n7.
