Aged 27 years. She was the daughter of Archibald Kenrick (1798-10 Mar 1878) and Anne Paget (16 March 1798-Jul 1864).

Schoolteacher and wife of Joseph Chamberlain.

She became ill two days after giving birth and died three days later. The baby, Joseph Austen survived and later went on to become Chancellor of the Exchequer, Foreign Secretary and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. She and Chamberlain had another child, Beatrice Mary (1862-1918).
