Services will be at Ingram Funeral Home, West Salem with Rev. H.E. Longbons officiating. Burial will be in the Moravian Cemetery.
He was born in Wingate, Ind., the son of Dr. Frank Allhands and Georgia Goodwin. In 1936 he married Jessie Voigt in West Salem.
He taught school for 45 years, including 17 years at the University of Illinois. His education was at Indiana State University and the University of Arizona, where he majored in mathematics. He was also a building contractor in Urbana.
Mr. Allhands was affiliated with the Wingate Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie, Urbana; a brother, Franklin Allhands and a sister, Mrs Vashti Nannett, both of New Richmond, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
