at 1:30 P.M. at the
First Methodist Church in
Nora Springs with burial in
Memorial Park in Mason City.

Rev. Keith Wilkin conducted
the service with
Scheckler Funeral Home
in charge.

He was born September 13,1922
in Rockwell, Iowa to
Emil and Clara Arndt.
He received his schooling in
Mason City.

On January 12, 1943 he entered
the air forcce serving in
North Africa during World War 11.
He was discharged on
December 13, 1945.

He married Dorothy Bifie of
Iowa, Louisana on August 11, 1946
in Mason City. They lived three years in Iowa, Louisana, then moved to Nora Springs where they
lived 26 years.

He was a member of the
First Methodist Church of
Nora Springs and a member of
489 Legion of Nora Springs. He
worked 15 years at Deckers.
He became disabled in 1967.

He is survived by his wife
Dorothy and five children.
Mrs. Dianna {Neil} Anderson of
Plymouth, Cyrus of Mason City,
Neoma McLaughlin of Plymouth,
Lloyd J. Arndt Jr., of
Miwaukee, Wisc., and
Adelia at home.
10 grandchildren,
mother, one sister, and 6 brothers. He was preceded in
death by his father and 2 brothers.
