Daniel A. Melvin, 65, died about 11:15 o'clock Thursday night at
the., home of his son, Edmund G. • Melvin, on the East pike.
Mr. Melvin was born April 10, 1868, In Washington township- and
was a lifelong resident of Muskingum county. He attended the Pleasant Grove Methodist church, and was for 16 years an employee
of the Ayers Mineral company. to Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Robert Moore, of Bellefontaine the son, Edmund, at whose home
He died: a sister, Catherine Harper, of Mill Run; -a brother, George Melvin, of Sonora, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from
the Mader-Peoples funeral chapel, with Rev. Thomas B. Mauer officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
