She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her first husband--Samuel Ward and her second husband--Eugene Ratliff and a son--Herman Ratliff. Gertie Lee was married to Samuel Ward the first time.She and Samuel had two children--Lexie(Ward)(Miller)Hickman and Lloyd Ward.She was married to Eugene Ratliff the second time.Gertie and Eugene had four children--Hassell Ratliff--Mrs. Luther(Hazel)Meadows,Herman Ratliff and Mrs. Raymond(Helen)Meadows.
