Mable Poole Bailey, 78, of Wilson, a native of Johnston County who formerly lived in Clayton, died Wednesday after declining health.
Born December 15, 1912, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Betty Rogers Poole. She was the widow of Wilton Bailey.
A graveside service was scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Friday) in Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Edmundson of Wilson(Eddie); a son, Donald E. Callihan(Faye) of Raleigh; a sister, Annie Bailey of Wilson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
