Mrs. Inez Albert, daughter of Charles and Lucile Yelton Hunsaker, was born near Hidalgo February 3, 1910, and departed this life at her home south of Greenup on April 6, 1947, at the age of 37 years, 2 months, and 3 days. She was united in Marriage to Charles Ray Albert on October 11, 1933.
In 1927, she graduated from Toledo High School and attended Eastern Illinois State Teacher's College at Charleston during the school year 1927-28. Since that time she has taught more than ten years in Jasper and Cumberland Counties schools.
She leaves to mourn her husband; three children, Keitha Faye, Charles Eugene, and Dorothy Ellen; her father; three brothers, William, Loren, and Byrl Hunsaker; and many other relatives and friends. Her mother and an infant brother preceded her in death.
Both as a mother and as a teacher, she filled her life with service and inspiration to others.
Funeral services, held at the home on Monday, April 7, were conducted by Wallace Endres. a minister of the Christian doctrine taught by Jehovah's Witnesses. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sperry with Miss Lydia Hiles at the piano. Burial was in Hazel Dell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Chapman, Mr. Hamilton of Mattoon, her uncle, John Yelton, and her three brothers.
