JESSE LOGUE, 77, 40-YEAR ATLANTIC RESIDENT DIES.

Jesse F. Logue, 77, a resident of 501 Locust, died late Tuesday afternoon at his home.
.
The son of Edwin Martin and Susan Clarrisa Porter Logue, he was born December 13, 1900, at Cumberland, Cass County, Iowa. He attended the Cumberland High School and farmed in the area. For the last 40 years, he has lived in Atlantic. Mr. Logue was married to Grace Della Cozad May 7, 1922, and she died March 12, 1944. He later married Mary Hoyt Robinson May 9, 1967.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Max (Zelma) Pangburn and Mrs. Lyle (Luella) Smith, both of Atlantic, Mrs. E.L. (Betty) Mudd of Minneapolis, Minnesota; five sons, Wayne, Edwin and James of Atlantic, Louis of Menlo Park, California, and Dale of San Mateo, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a stepson, Lloyd Robinson of Essex; two stepgrandsons, Howard E. and Eddie L. Robinson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace; two daughters, Verlee in infancy and Gloria in 1972; a son, Lloyd in 1949; a grandson, Glen in infancy; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday [December 14, 1978], at Roland Funeral Home, with Jack VanCuren, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in the Reno Methodist Cemetery southeast of Cumberland.
