Mary Louise (Molly) Charbonneau, formerly of Concord and Acton MA, and Satellite Beach, FL, died of pancreatic cancer in Pepperell, MA, at her daughters home, on September 4th. She was the beloved wife of 64 years of Arthur P. Charbonneau.
Born in Concord on February 3, 1924, she was the proud daughter of the late Concord Police Chief, William G. Ryan and Mary F. Ryan. She attended Concord public schools, graduated from Concord High School in 1942 and went on to graduate from Burdette Secretarial College in Boston. Her love of Concord, MA, always considered her home, was only ever surpassed by the love of her family.
Molly was a nurse for the Red Cross during WW II, and worked at Bedford Air Force Base, where she met her husband, Arthur (Art). After 21 years in the Air Force, Molly and Art resided in Acton, where she was an interior decorator part time; devoted mother full time.
Molly was the mother of 5 children; Paul S. Charbonneau and his wife Judith of Bradford, NH, Julie M. McMahon and her husband Jack of Pepperell, MA, Mary L. Rivers and her husband Gregory of Fitchburg, MA, William G. (Bill) Charbonneau of Naples, FL, and the late Mary Adelaide Charbonneau. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren; Mary Adelaide and Martha (Charbonneau) Lisio, David and Meghan Greco, and Katelyn and Corey McMahon. She was blessed to have 3 great grandchildren, George, Joseph, and Willem. She was the loving older sister of William Ryan and his wife Harriet of Mariaville, ME, and Richard Ryan and his wife Judith of Concord, MA.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, September 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER.
Funeral will be on Tuesday, September 14th from the Dee Funeral Home at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish at St. Bernard's Church, 12 Monument Square, CONCORD CENTER.
Interment will follow in the famly burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord, Massachusetts.
