Mrs. Mary E. Gould Dies Friday Night - Funeral Services Monday Afternoon
Mrs. Mary Emily Gould, 91, a life-long resident of Adams county, died at 8:42 o'clock Friday night at the Adams county memorial hospital. She had been ill since December with carcinoma.
She was born in Adams county March 9, 1858, a daughter of Elisha and Mary Ann Ray.
She was a member of the Monroe Friends church.
Surviving are two sons, Odes Gould, of Monroe, with whom she made her home, and Roy Gould of Covington, KY; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Monroe Friends church, the Rev. Vernon Riley officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery, six miles southeast of Monroe. The body will be removed from the Lobenstein funeral home to the residence at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
