Frederick A. Blust
Holland Patent - Frederick A. Blust, 63, of this village, a former pharmacist, died in his home, Feb. 12, 1946, following a brief illness.
He was born here, a son of Matthias and Catherine Buehler Blust.
He attended Holland Patent High School and studied pharmacy in the Soldiers and Sailors Home, Bath. On Feb. 16, 1904 he married Christina O'Hagen of Central Islip, L.I.
He attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church where he served as vestryman for 15 years. He was a member of Faxton Lodge 697, F& AM, Utica and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Besides his widow he leaves a son, Matthias, Utica; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Gibbs and Mrs. Brayton Hoffman, Holland Patent and Mrs. Hazel Barlow, Stittville; a brother, William, Stittville and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Bowes, Utica.
At 8 p.m. tomorrow members of the Masonic Lodge will conduct ritualistic services in the Blust home.
Funeral services will be conducted in Pritchard Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Saturday. Burial will be in Ye Olden Barneveld Cemetery. Utica paper, Feb. 14, 1946
