The Gettysburg Times April 18, 1961

Mrs. Susan Biesecker, 88, widow of Charles Biesecker, and a resident of Orrtanna most of her life, died Monday night at the Warner Hospital where she had been a patient for several days.
She had been a patient at the Kuhn Convalescent Home, New Oxford, for some time, and before that had resided for a time with her daughter, Mrs. George W. Naugle, 40 Barlow St.
A native of Elkton, Va., she was a daughter of the late Millard and Nancy R (Rebert) Cover and moved to Orrtanna when a child. She had resided in the Orrtanna area until moving here with her daughter. She was a member of the Orrtanna Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her daughter are three sisters: Mrs. Roy Bream and Mrs. Bessie Bream, both of Gettysburg, and Miss Otta Cover, Williamsport, Md.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Peters Funeral Home, Carlisle St., with the Rev. William Fenstermaker officiating. Interment in Flohr’s Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
