Mr. George W. Edwards Dies Sunday. The sudden death of Mr
Edwards last Saturday was a sad event and great shock to his many friends here and other towns in North Louisiana and much heart felt sympathy is extended the bereaved family.
The deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, Billy Edwards of Arcadia, and E. B. Edwards of Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. I. T. Durham of Mowerton, Va., and Mrs. Grace McCelland of Erie, Pa.; two brothers, Bishop Edwards of Gilsland and J. B. Edwards of Bradley, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. A. B. HaTruman of Gilsland; two granddaughters, Bettie Louise Lowry and Virginia Lee Hudson; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Violet Williams of Sabine, Texas and Mrs. Jennie LaConnier of Jackson, Miss.; on uncle, George Edwards of Mariam, La., who were present at the funeral.
