Clifford Alderton, 64, of 684 Broadway St., Wyoming, died Thursday at CEE Hospital, Petrolia. He was born in Mosa Township in Middlesex County and has lived in Wyoming for over 40 years. He was the assistant foreman for the Village of Wyoming. He is survived by his wife, Olive (Lucas), children, Leonard, Douglas and Mrs. Victor (Judy) Wojciechowski all of Alberta, Mrs. James (Gladys) Reid of Lakefield, Ont., Mrs. Don (Joanne) Copeland of Wyoming, brother of Walter, Lenard and Tom of Rodney, Robert of Wyoming, Archie of West Lome, Kenneth of Leamington, Mrs. Clarence (Margaret) Pierce (Butler) of Samia, Mrs. Eugene (Beatrice) MacRae of St. Clair, Mich., Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Hall of Leamington and Mrs. Frank (Anna) Dennison of Windsor. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister, Hilda. Visitors will be received at the Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, where the funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lois Whitwell of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wyoming, officiating. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CEE Hospital Building Fund.
