Born in the Mt. Crawford community on June 6, 1877, was a daughter of the late John S. and Mary Elizabeth Dundore Bowman. A resident of the Mt. Sinal section since early girlhood, she had resided at her late home, three miles south of Harrisonburg on the Valley Pike since her marriage on October 12, 1897 to Quinn G. Kaylor. Mr. Kaylor preceded her in death on May 17, 1943.
