Debra Jo Doelling
Debra "Debbie" Jo Doelling, 19, Nevada, passed away Wednesday at the Cox Medical Center Springfield Mo. surrounded by her family.
She was born July 31, 1952 in Nevada, the daughter of Martin H.F. and Eunice L. Butler-Doelling. She had been in failing health the past five years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1970. Debbie loved life and could be seen around the Main Street neighborhood growing up riding on her sapphire Blue Western Flyer bicycle and as a teenager on her mini motorcycle. Her favorite activities were collecting Buffalo Nickels, stuffed animals, swimming, roller skating, sleep overs with her friends and movies at the Fox Theatre. As a little girl and young teen she always wore her hair in a ponytail styled by her Mom. She had a sense of humor and a smile that lite up any room she walked into.
Survivors include her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Donna Ryan and Mrs. Vonnie Burchell both of Nevada; four nieces and nephews; her Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Butler, Horton Mo. Her sparkling personality, sense of humor and companionship will be forever sadly missed by her many neighbors, classmates, friends and her physician; Dr. Harry V Langeluttig Jr. . She was preceded in death by and infant brother, Fredrick Waine Doelling.
Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. O.V. Dodson officiating. Interment will be in Newton Burial Park. Friends may call now until the hour of service.
