Josephine Andrews Beaver, 87, formerly of Mt. Mourne, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004 at Genesis Eldercare in Mooresville Born July 9, 1917 in Franklin County, Ga., to the late Fred and Eunice Browning Andrews, Mrs. Beaver was retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Richard Munday Sunshine Club.
Mrs. Beaver was married to Hazel C. Beaver, who preceded her in death. A sister, Annie A. Bost Bunton, and brother, H.T. Andrews, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Aloma Hill and Danny Beaver, both of Mooresville and Vickie Seigler of Hinesville, Ga.; brothers, Doyle Andrews of Hartwell, Ga. and Robert Andrews of Elberton, Ga.; sisters, Nell Gehrke of Merritt Island, Fla., Fay Massey of Elberton, Ga. and Reba Patanella of Rogers, Ark.; grandchildren, Abigail Beaird, Charlotte Tharp, Andy Beaver, Erin Beaver, Nicholas Lamb and Christy Seigler; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 22, at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. D. Steven Gouge and Rev. Hal D. Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park.
