This record is from the 1850 Gibson County Tennessee, District 11 Census. Henry made a Southern War Claim as Henry Marcrum, many of his descendants spell their names Markham. Is anyone researching this line?

A son shown above, Henderson J. Marcum, married my gg-aunt Sarah Varner about 1858-60 (can't find the marriage record). He killed a man named Harrison in 1882. Family lore suggests he or some children might have moved to north Texas and/or Indian Territory between 1880 and 1910.
