C.N. "Newt" Alexander, 75, passed away Monday, Dec. 15 in Caldwell. He was born April 16, 1933, in Hollis, Okla. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jo Ann Hardwick Alexander; son, Craig Alexander and wife Lou Ann of Burnet; daughters, Lisa Knoy and husband Joe of Caldwell; Bonta Fitzwater and husband Rob of Baytown, and Tonya Cravens and husband Richie of Caldwell; grandchildren, Sunya Denton and husband Chris of Burnet, Starla Martin and husband Jordan of Frisco, James Hatfield of Baytown, Joshua Lloyd of College Station, Tasha Prescott and husband Billy of Caldwell, and Cody, Kiah and Neva Cravens, all of Caldwell; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Journey Denton of Burnet, Kent Prescott of Caldwell and, coming soon, Jett Martin of Frisco.
Newt was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Carrie Alexander, and daughter, Tracy Alexander Christian.
Graveside services and interment are 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Tow Cemetery, with Mr. Tim Denton officiating.
Services entrusted to Edgar Funeral Home in Burnet.
