Raymond Edward Lovell Raymond Edward Lovell, 62, of Pleasant Grove passed away at his home on May 25, 2005 of cancer. He was born January 22, 1943 in Provo to Edward B. Lovell and Lois Greenland who later married Edgar Kearley and raised Raymond as his own. He was a life-long resident of the Utah Valley area with the exception his three years of service in the U. S. Army from 1961-64. He married LaRae Johnson of Lindon on July 16, 1965 and was later divorced. Ray was a valued employee of Mt. States Steel for 38 years as a shipping clerk and crane/forklift operator. He will be remembered for his love of the mountains, four-wheeling, and his rusty old gray Chevy truck known as "Old Effie". He was deeply loved and always treasured and will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by five children: Terri (Bart) Middleton and Glenda (Don) Moore both of Florence, OR; Troy Lovell, Logan; RaNae (Lance) Scott, Lindon; Kelley (Chester) Harbert, Austin, TX; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; siblings: June Sumter, Lucile Marchbanks, Sharon Brimhall, Edgar Kearley Jr. and long-time companion, Cecelia Needles. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Greaves and Carol Ann Fullmer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
