James Adams Ray, aged 42 years, died at his residence 208 Richolieu avenue Thursday, October 15 at midnight following an illness of complications. Mr. Ray was born in New Castle May 25, 1873 a son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Ray and had resided practically all his life in this city. He was a carpenter by occupation. He was a member of the Second United Presbyterian church and the Carpenters Union. Besides his widow, Jennie Caldwell Ray, he leaves the following children: Mrs. James Book of this city; J. Arthur Ray of Youngstown, O., Margaret, Grace and Robert at home. He also leaves one sister Mrs. James Cubbison of Sharon, Pa. Funeral services will take place Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence in charge of Rev. A. J. Randles of the Second U.P. church. Interment will be made in the United Presbyterian cemetery at Plaingrove.
