Arthur J. Biver, 94, of Belleville, IL, born August 29, 1913, in Blackjack, IL, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at St. Paul's Home, Belleville, IL.
Mr. Biver was a petroleum salesman for St. Clair Service for over 40 years before he retired. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. Arthur was also a member of the St. Clair County Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Viola, nee Ammel, Biver;
and six brothers, Clem, Melvin, Cyril, Irvin, Ardell, and Myron Biver.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Viola A., nee Kurtz, Biver, whom he married June 15, 1937;
three sons, William (Carole) Biver of Belton, MO,
Thomas (Sandy) Biver of Millstadt, IL,
and John (Lisa) Biver of Fowler, OH;
two daughters, Mary (Thomas) Dewein of Belleville, IL,
and Teresa (Larry) Hoff of Swansea, IL;
10 grandchildren, Diane (Anthony) Quinn, Nancie Biver, Amy (Tim) Hasara,
Lea (Chris) Kwapis, Sue (Tim) Hogan, Gregory T. Dewein, Emily (Chris) Scott,
Elizabeth (Ryan) Lee, Larry Hoff, and Michael (Michelle) Glascock;
eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Aidan, Liam, and Kellan Quinn,
Corrine Kwapis, Sidney Hogan, Ben Hasara, and Megan Glascock.

Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
