Henry "Root" Abrams, 77, passed on October 23, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Laura Abrams; three children, Henry Abrams , Lionel Abrams and Terry Abrams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000, 1 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church, where family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 p.m. Dr. Levy M. Armwood officiating. Interment Shiloh Church Cemetery.
