OBITUARY: MURIL H. BREAZILE
Muril Hudson Breazile, son of Drewry and Nellie Roberts Breazile, was born at Talmage on April 7, 1913, one of six children.
Muril moved to Auburn as a small child and attended Auburn public schools.
April 3, 1937, he was married to Myrtle Cole. Two children were born to this union. They lived in Auburn for several years before moving to Omaha where Muril was a commercial painter. After his retirement, they returned to Auburn.
Muril served in the U.S. Armey during World War II.
He was a member of the Auburn V.F.W. and Brotherhood of Painters and Decorators of America No. 109 of Omaha.
Mr. Breazile passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 16, 1987. He had reached the age of 73 years, nine months and ten days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle of Auburn; son, Schuyler Breazile of Auburn; daughter, Mrs. Richard Walker of Winnebago; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Curtis Breazile of Tecumseh, Gene Breazile of Auburn, and Drue Breazile of Redlands, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Steven Sandtner of Rochester, Wash.; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Jan. 19 at Casey-Witzenburg chapel, conducted by Rev. Ward Merritt.
Pallbearers were John Birdsley, Rod Breazile, Jerry Breazile, Richard Walker, Vince Birdsley, Robert Breazile and Sonny McQuinn.
Mrs. Ella Patras assisted with flowers.
Burial was in Sheridan Memorial cemetery, with military rites courtesy of Auburn V.F.W. and American Legion.
