Benner, Anna Mary, dau. of the late Aaron and Mary (Zimmerman) Stauffer, was born at Goodville, Pa., Aug. 2, 1866; passed away after an illness of three days, at the home of her daughter (Mrs. Noah S. Boll), Lititz, Pa., Feb. 23, 1950; aged 83 y. 6 m. 21 d. In her youth she confessed Christ as her Saviour and was a member of the Weaverland Church. At the time of her death, she belonged to the Groffdale congregation. On Dec. 15, 1892, she was married to W. Henry Benner, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Viola-Mrs. Noah S. Boll, Lititz., Pa.), one foster son (Russell Beyer, Lititz, Pa.), 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Reuben Shirk, Navron, Pa.). An infant daughter and 5 brothers predeceased her. She filled well her place as mother and grandmother. Funeral services were held at the late home in Lititz, Feb. 27, in charge of Amos Sauder and John Martin, at the Groffdale Church, in charge of Eli Sauder and Mahlon Witmer. Text: Mark 14: 8.
