LEESBURG - Vida Lois Neely McNulty, 84, of Volant RD 2, a former teacher in Harlansburg and Grove City school systems, died at 2 a.m., Dept 6, 1985, in Jameson Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Butler County on Dec. 28, 1900, to King Irvin and Luella Snyder Neely. She married Robert G. McNulty on April 12, 1922. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1976. Mrs. McNulty was a member of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church where she was active in the church missionary society, was a Sunday school teacher and a long-time member and president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lois) Cooper of Volant RD 1 and Mrs. Abe (Helen) Hammerschmidt of Volant RD 2; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Clare) McMurray of Slippery Rock RD 3; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Seth Neely. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Smith Funeral Home, Volant RD 1 (Leesburg). A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home by the Rev. Mark S. Davis of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in North Plain Grove Cemetery, Plain Grove Township.
