LEESBURG - Jay A. (Jerry) McNulty, 86, of 1626 Bancroft Ave., Youngstown, where he lived with the H. O. Rodgers family, died in Edgewater Nursing Home at Lake Milton, Ohio, on March 12, 1977, at 7:50 p.m. after an extended illness. He was born in Plain Grove Township, on Dec. 12, 1890- , to the late John and Elizabeth Allen McNulty. He was a retired conductor of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Mr. McNulty was an Army veteran of World War I, with Company F, 332nd Infantry, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Youngstown, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Veterans. He is survived by a son Jay of Volant RD 1; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ransome and Robert. Friends will be received at the Grace Cunningham Smith Funeral Home in Leesburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Robert Dayton of the Plain Grove United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in North Plain Grove United Presbyterian Church.
