Mrs. Fannie Mae Cooper, aged 76 years, died this morning at 9:30 o'clock after an illness of one year at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pearl McConnell, 456 Neshannock avenue. Mrs. Cooper, widow of George Cooper, who preceded her in death in 1935, had resided with her daughter for ten years, moving here from Volant R. D. 2. Born in Lawrence county September 26, 1872, she was a daughter of Wilson and Margaret Montgomery Drake, who are both deceased. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Leesburg Presbyterian church, Dorcas Missionary society and Silver Tea society. Survivors in addition to her daughter include two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Cooper and Mrs. Clyde Donley, both of Volant; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rev. William A. Lloyd will officiate at funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Cunningham funeral home, Leesburg, where friends may call Monday afternoon and evening. Interment will take place in Plaingrove U. P. cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday afternoon and evening at the Cunningham funeral home, East Washington at Chestnut, this city.
