LEESBURG - Mrs. Mary Florence Cooper, 76, of Volant RD 1, died at 5:10 a.m. today in the Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle after a short illness. She was born in Washington Township, Lawrence County on May 20, 1897 to the late James and Maude Eppinger Armstrong. She was married to Charles H. Cooper on March 27, 1918 and he preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1970. Mrs. Cooper was affiliated with the United Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Harry (Ada J.) Campbell of Meadville; two sons, Harold L. of Volant RD 1 and Duwayne of Mercer RD 4; a brother Arthur Armstrong on New Castle, five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Arnold and a brother Howard Armstrong. Friends will be received at the Grace Cunningham Smith Funeral Hoe from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial in North Plain Grove Cemetery.
