OBITUARY

John W. Allen was born February 14, 1862 in Georgia. He died at his home in Strong City, Oklahoma, November 22, 1949. Survivors include one son, Oder Allen of Strong City, Oklahoma and one daughter, Ruby Bounds of Ratcliff, Texas.

Funeral services were conducted in the Baptist church of Strong City, Wednesday, November 23, with Rev. Don Anderson preaching the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Strong City cemetery under the direction of Scroggins Funeral Home of Cheyenne.
