Mrs. Lyle was born in Cleburne County, Ala., on April 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Verner Harris and Vera Foster Harris.
She had served as administrator of Carroll Convalescent Center, secretary with the State of Georgia Regulatory Service and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lyle of Carrollton; sister, Ora Dell Harris Reid of Carrollton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Durward B. Lyle; brothers and sister, Foster Harris, Pelham Harris and Martha Harris Hammond.
A celebration of life will be Friday, October 22 at 12 o'clock at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastors Dan and Carla Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
