Karl Edward Koch, 46, of 1056 27th, died Thursday afternoon at St. Benedict's Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Koch was born March 31, 1926, in Laramie, Wyo., a son of Henry and Dorothy Appel Koch.
On Oct. 10, 1947, he was married to Wilma Thornock in Ogden.
He came to Ogden in 1945 and had worked for Williamsen Body Co. as a sheet metal man for 21 years and started working at Hill Air Force Base in 1966.
Surviving are his widow; one son and one daughter, Max Koch, with the U.S. Air Force in Anchorage, Alaska; Miss Jan Koch, Ogden; one brother and four sisters, Robert Koch, Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Robert (Margaret) McGregor, Newfoundland, N.J.; Mrs. Harold (Julie) Knobel, Morland, Ken.; Mrs. Joe (Marie) DePietro, Rantoul, Ill.; Mrs. William (Dorothy) Jones, Abileen, Tex.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop's Counselor William O. Wood officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial in Washington Heights Memorial Park. [Ogden, Utah]."
